Fruitarianism 101: How To Deal With Unhealthy Cravings

I am going to talk about a subject that is extremely important to most people – how to eliminate cravings.

Cravings for foods that you grew up on, that you love, the things that you just can’t seem to give up: pizza, ice-cream, doughnuts, Doritos, chips, cheese, cookies, basically everything that you find in the supermarket except for the stuff in the produce section. If you are hungry – you are going to crave these things. And if you are hungry and you are around these things – you are going to eat them if you don’t learn how to deal with your ‘cravings’ or what I like to call ‘addictions’.

The simplest and the most straightforward way to eliminate these cravings is to eat more fruits and vegetables. To prove this point – eat a watermelon and then eat a huge salad and then go to one of those places that serve junk food. You are not going to be interested.

Stick with it – it gets better guys!

The real word for cravings is addiction. If you have a problem with potato chips – it’s because they make them addictive so that you keep buying them! There is more money spent in the laboratory on how to make Doritos addictive than on how to cure rare diseases. If you cut these foods out completely – you will free yourself from the bondage of these foods. Some people have mild food addictions and some people have really bad food addictions. But if you grew up in US or anywhere in the industrialized world – you are addicted to processed foods. To prove that – just try to stop eating them.
