Fruit is Bottled Water! Perfectly Filtered, Natural Water!

Perhaps the biggest marketing scam in history is the sale of bottled water.

In the Western world, tap water is about as safe as it can be.. Yet many people are prepared to pay up to 2,000 times as much for water in a plastic bottle. This phenomenon is called manufactured demand, created by advertising campaigns convincing us that tap water is dirty and bottled water comes from a pristine environment of some virgin islands.

The truth is that although all bottled waters are believed to be from natural springs, some are from the same surface water sources as the local tap water, and some are tap water, sometimes filtered, sometimes not. Further, bottled water industries create a great stress on that same pristine environment that is depicted on the water bottles.

Americans buy more bottled water than any other nation in the world — about 29 billion water bottles a year. In order to make all these bottles, manufactures use 17 million barrels of crude oil. That’s enough oil to keep a million cars going for twelve months.

For every six water bottles we use, only one makes it to the recycling bin. The rest are sent to landfills. Or, even worse, they end up as trash on the land and in rivers, lakes, and the ocean. Plastic bottles take many hundreds of years to disintegrate.

I’m not saying that public water systems are great and that you shouldn’t buy bottled water. No, I think we should buy bottled water, but bottled water coming in a special package called ‘fruit’. Let’s take an orange for example. Orange is 95% water with lots of vitamins. It is true vitamin water. And it comes in a bright colorful package too – it’s called ‘the peel’. And it can stay fresh for months in the refrigerator!

If you eat a fruitarian diet and you are not a crazy exerciser in super hot conditions, you don’t need to drink any additional water. All the fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet will give you all the water you need providing that you don’t eat dehydrated foods, salt and spices that would cause you to require additional water!

I hardly ever drink water. I prefer eating sweet juicy fruits. This is the stuff that fuels me to run a 100 miles. This water is so pure that it is sweet.
